The Eaton 5S UPS provides effective power supply protection, even in disturbing electrical environments. Voltage fluctuations are automatically compensated via a voltage regulator (AVR, booster/fader) without consuming the batteries. The 5S is not only a battery backup that keeps your equipment running even during power outages, but also provides effective protection against harmful surges. The 5S also protects your network equipment from power spikes coming "through the back door" over Ethernet, Internet or telephone lines. Your regular battery self-test warns early when a battery replacement is necessary. The easy-to-replace batteries help extend the UPS life. The 5S can be installed vertically above, on or under a table, or horizontally under a screen. Thanks to its compact, flat format, it integrates itself in environments with limited space without any problems. The Eaton 5S has an HID-compatible USB port that automatically integrates into the popular operating systems (Windows/Mac OS/Linux), and is also compatible with the Eaton UPS Companion power management software. All models come with USB cable and two output cables (IEC-IEC).
