The legs are attached to the body, so you know it is thick stainless steel that isn't going to damage or dent easily! The entire lid is removable and the inside is mirror polished, making this conical fermenter very easy to clean and sanitize. The total capacity of this stainless conical fermenter is 13 gallons, so you can do a double batch and still have plenty of head space for that wonderful foamy, bubbly fermentation action. On the bottom, there are two 1.5" tri-clover ferrules for attaching the drain and racking valves (both included). On the top there is one 1.5" tri-clover ferrule for attaching an airlock or blow-off valve, and on the side there is a fourth 1.5" tri-clamp port to allow you to easily add a thermowell if desired.
